Every year, Marmomac stand design<\/strong> begins with a deceptively difficult question: what should someone remember after walking past hundreds of other stands?<\/p>\n

Our answer this year wasn’t to become louder. It was to become cleaner and clearer.<\/p>\n

Start With the Stone<\/h2>\n

Trade fairs encourage visual competition. Bigger structures. Brighter lighting. More graphics. More information.<\/p>\n

But when the product is natural stone, there’s a real danger in building too much around it. We wanted the opposite: the stone should be the first thing you notice and the last thing you remember.<\/p>\n

So that meant making deliberate decisions about lighting, wall colours, viewing distance, spacing, and sample placement, so the material could speak for itself. In fact, Marmomac itself recognises this instinct<\/a> every year through its Best Communicator Award, which tends to reward exactly this kind of restraint over spectacle.<\/p>\n

The goal wasn’t to make the stone look spectacular. It was to let it look honest.<\/p>\n

One of the hardest parts of exhibition design is deciding what not to show.<\/p>\n

We could have brought a much larger selection. Instead, we focused on a smaller group that tells a more coherent story, with focus on:<\/p>\n
