Four days. One stand. Hundreds of conversations. A lot of stone.<\/p>\n

That’s what live from Marmomac 2026<\/strong> looked like from our side of things; Marmomac’s 60th edition gave us plenty to talk about, and perhaps more importantly, plenty to think about.<\/p>\n

Here’s what the fair looked like from our side of the stand.<\/p>\n

Day One: First Impressions<\/h2>\n

The first morning had the familiar combination of anticipation and controlled chaos.<\/p>\n

You spend months preparing for a trade fair, and then suddenly you’re standing at the stand, surrounded by people, samples, questions, and a schedule that somehow manages to disappear the moment the doors open.<\/p>\n

Within the first few hours, architects and specifiers from across Europe were already stopping by, alongside distributors from the SWANA region; a reminder of just how wide our export map has become. Sinai Pearl<\/a> drew people in first, along with our granite range.<\/p>\n

What surprised us most was how often the conversation moved past the stone itself and into finish options; honed, polished, and sandblast surfaces came up almost as often as tumbled.<\/p>\n

It was one of those things you don’t necessarily notice from behind a screen or in a catalogue. You have to stand there, talk to people, answer the same question a few times, and then realise that maybe there’s a reason everyone keeps asking it.<\/p>\n
